It was announced that Licia C. Streich has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of TOTAL Mechanical and all its subsidiaries. Licia is a CPA with a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois and an MBA from Marquette University and has been with the company since 2002 where she served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer until 2007 when she was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining TOTAL Mechanical, Ms. Streich worked for Johnson Controls from 1989 to 2001 where she served in several capacities; Special Projects Manager, Area Financial Manager as well as General Accounting Supervisor and Installation Accounting Supervisor.
Ms. Streich succeeds Dennis J. Braun who has owned and operated the company since 1988. Mr. Braun will retain ownership and continue on as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Braun hails his 2002 hire as “one of the best ever.” “Licia is a champion of continuous process improvement with an emphasis on developing cohesive teams within the organization”, Braun states. “Licia possesses a comprehensive understanding of all our business units coupled with exceptional business intuition”.
Braun further stated that the announcement was met with an astounding vote of confidence from the Company’s Executive team.
