• Eight thousand four hundred and twenty-two Sprinkler Heads

• Twenty five thousand four hundred feet of Pipe

• Fifteen Dry Systems

• Five FDCs

• Two Hundred hose valves

• Two 8” Double Detector Check Backflow Preventers

• One MIC Blast FPS 15,000 Nitrogen Generator with Air Compressor and Tank

• One 1,000 GPM 480 Volt Electric Fire Pump at 235 PSI, Complete with 200 HP Jockey Pump, and Wye Delta controllers with transfer switch for high zone

• One 1,000 GPM 480 Volt Electric Fire Pump at 110 PSI, Complete with 100 HP Jockey Pump, and Wye Delta controllers with transfer switch for high zone

Project summary:

Northwestern Mutual – 777 N. Van Buren is a 35-story structure.  The facility includes 25 floors of apartments and 10 floors of parking, 8 of which are above-ground.  The 9th floor of the building has amenities such as a swimming pool, sports bar, fitness center, and conference rooms.

Project summary:

Marquette University Residence Hall & Dining Facility consists of two towers.  The Eckstein Tower houses 400 students on 11 floors; the Wells Street Hall houses 465 students on 8 floors.  The project also includes a 24-hour dining facility, lounges, and smart classrooms.  The facility opens in fall of 2018.

As a design-build contractor, TOTAL Mechanical designed the code compliant systems and coordinated with all trades to ensure the construction process was efficient and cost-effective to the Owner.
